This is an excellent first novel - a dark contemporary horror / fantasy story, set in various locales around Southern England.It mixes the everyday mundane banality of normal life with the heart-pounding action and adrenaline rush of a series of fantastic and horrific events, interwoven with a fine romantic story and the rye observations of the protagonist.
A really good read - thoroughly enjoyable, an excellent story with a satisfying conclusion.
